Happy April from Colorado! Many of our plants are beginning to show their colors with vibrant blooms and bright green leaves. This week we’re highlight the Texas Scarlet flowering quince, Chaenomeles speciosa. These photos of blooms were taken last week:
With beautiful scarlet flowers and a yellow-green fruit, the Texas scarlet is a great deciduous shrub that will brighten up your yard year after year.
