Spring has come to Western Colorado!  In the nursery it has changed from “hold off until it warms up” to “how am I going to get it all done”. This is the time where everything that has been dormant is starting to leaf out and it all needs to be pruned. Of course it means that many of the plants will need to grow to be able to be shipped again. This is also the time that cuttings and seedlings need to be transplanted into their containers, like I said, how will I get it all done! I am exited to start transplanting the Mahonia Repens seedlings shown in the photo. It is a fantastic Colorado Native that many call Creeping Oregon Grape. Anyway, I’ve got to get to work!
